Oh no, not the insta love!

synopsis_resize

Jumping into some of the world’s most beautiful libraries would be a dream come true for Gia, if she weren’t busy resisting her heart or dodging an exiled wizard seeking revenge on both the Mystik and human worlds. Add a French flirt obsessed with Arik and a fling with a young wizard, and Gia must choose between her heart and her head, between Arik’s world and her own, before both are destroyed.

The cover on this is gorgeous! This wasn’t a bad read at all, but it did have too much insta-love for me to handle. I wasn’t all that interested in the characters either which was a bit of a letdown for me.

I will say though that it is pretty cool that Gia – a book lover – can jump between libraries. I’d take that as a superpower any day.

There is some good humour scattered throughout and the world building is pretty vivid. I think there are a lot of people out there who would love this book a whole lot more than I did so if the premise sounds interesting, definitely give it a try.
