The Throne of Glass series book 4
This book is basically Barney Stinson
The queen has returned.
Everyone Celaena Sardothien loves has been taken from her. But she’s at last returned to the empire—for vengeance, to rescue her once-glorious kingdom, and to confront the shadows of her past…
She has embraced her identity as Aelin Galathynius, Queen of Terrasen. But before she can reclaim her throne, she must fight. She will fight for her cousin, a warrior prepared to die for her. She will fight for her friend, a young man trapped in an unspeakable prison. And she will fight for her people, enslaved to a brutal king and awaiting their lost queen’s triumphant return.
All the stars…take them all!
I read this in one sitting and stayed up to 4am to do so even though I had work in the morning – still have no regrets over that.
This is a monster of a book but it is everything and more.
- The story – on point
- The characters – captivating
- The action – thrilling
- Rowan’s description – no words.
I officially became team Rowan after reading this book – which has not been a popular opinion but the heart wants what the heart wants. He is such a fantastic counterpart to Celaena and their scenes together are a perfect combination of sexy and badass.
Manon is a powerhouse in this book and I really like that she is using her head and her heart more rather than just obeying every command. No matter what mood she is in, I still wouldn’t want to meet her in a dark alley.
Waiting for the next book is going to be a nightmare!
