What I’m Reading In June…Maybe

Rain, rain, go away…but not really.

With the shitty winter weather slowly encroaching on my life, I think this might be the month I actually manage to complete my TBR.

I always have these grand plans to read more books that I realistically know I can handle so to stop myself from inevitable disappoint, I’m scaling back my TBR to something a little more achievable.

I also try to never hold myself to my TBR choices because my reading mood shifts quite frequently and I don’t want to force myself to read a book I might’ve thought was good but is in fact a bunch of horrible moments wrapped up in a pretty paperback package.

Books I’m currently reading:

  1. Career of Evil by Robert Galbraith
  2. Because I Love you by Tori Rigby – YA Bound Book Tours review copy

Books I plan on tackling:

  1. The Sway by Ruby Knight – NetGalley review copy
  2. Me Before You by Jojo Moyes
  3. Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon
  4. Wasted Words by Staci Hart

JUNE TBR UPDATE: I’m very proud to announce that I read half of the books I wanted to and a few others. You can find the reviews below:

Because I Love You

The Sway

Me Before You

After You

The Unmoving Sky

George (review to come)

The Girl on the Train (review to come)

What are you planning on reading this month? Leave me a link to your TBR if you have one.

I hope that you will enjoy Me Before You. It is one of my favorite books. Happy reading month and at-least I am not the only one who won’t e having summer in June. It gets cold and rainy here towards July.

It makes me sad seeing everyone’s summer posts when I’m weighed down with blankets lol. I’m hoping to pick it up next – it looks like exactly what I need 🙂
