Thanks Giselle for letting me be apart of this tour – I was really taken by this book.

If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like if some of your favourite characters got hot and heavy, look no further. A slight retelling of Beauty and the Beast, this story follows Bette (aka Belle), a bookstore owner and Richard (aka the Beast), a hotel mogul looking to tear this small town apart.

This is a really short read that is full of wit, heart and hot romance. The chemistry between the two characters is palpable and I must say I had a big smile on my face while reading some of their interactions. It was nice to see the well put together Bette give into her inhibitions and the best part of these books is always seeing the stubborn male soften at the hands of a sweet romance.

I really like the writing in this book and it looks like it is going to be a series with other characters thrown in the mix; I will be checking it out for sure. I recommend this to anyone looking for a quick romance read or something steamy over the holiday break.
